Following a proximal humerus fracture, Erika worked with FOX Rehabilitation’s Danielle Cicala, MS, OTR/L, on rebuilding her strength, coordination, active range of motion, and motor planning in her right arm. In this activity, Erika used 1 lb weights to target reaching tasks near the microwave—an important step toward her goal of independently lifting plates, bowls, and mugs to reheat meals. Once she feels confident and capable with this, we’ll progress to higher-level cooking tasks like handlin
