They were cold and hungry on intake, so it's likely that this youngster was orphaned and emerged from the burrow in late summer in search of food or mom. Thanks to the care of our vets and staff, this youngster has grown up healthy, strong, and ready to survive in the wild! This patient was released in prime Chipmunk habitat, where the locals have reported numerous Chi
