"Dao Lian Tu," or "Court Ladies Preparing Newly Woven Silk," was created during the Song Dynasty (960-1279) and is a copy of an original painting by Zhang Xuan from the preceding Tang Dynasty (618-907). It is now housed at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts in the United States.
