Built in 1997 as Longaberger Company’s HQ at a cost of $30 million. Its handles weigh 150 tons and are heated to prevent ice damage. A rare example of novelty architecture + branding in real life. The former headquarters of the Longaberger Basket Company, Newark, Ohio (02/28/26) This is the largest basket building in the world and it sits empty to this day. (Quick note: The largest basket in the world is in Dresden, Ohio, and the largest basket of apples is in Frazeysburg, Ohio) The fate and future of this amazing structure is still up in the air as time slowly takes its toll. Go see it in-person if you ever get the chance to. Be sure to click the FOLLOW button for Dobbins Aerial Photogra

In Newark, Ohio, the Longaberger Basket Building stands as one of the most unusual office designs ever created. Seven stories tall and crafted with steel and stucco, it was designed as an exact replica of the company’s iconic woven basket. The vision was bold to transform branding into architecture and turn a product into a landmark. #LongabergerBasket #OhioArchitecture #BasketBuilding #SteelAndStucco #ArchitecturalLandmark #BrandingThroughDesign #QuirkyArchitecture #CulturalIcon #ChapterOfDesig
