City Life | The #Chikan Overseas #Chinese Ancient Town is located in the central part of Kaiping, #Jiangmen, along the banks of the Tanjiang River. With a history of 370 years since its port opening and market establishment, the town was gradually developed by the Guan Clan of Shangbu and the Situ Clan of Xiabu, who settled at the eastern and western ends of the town. The area boasts over 600 #Qilou, making it the largest, most continuous, and best-preserved cluster of Qilou complexes in #China.
