At approximately 18:00 hours the Boston Fire Department and members of Boston Fire Fighters Local 718 IAFF responded in District 12 to Box 2619 for 4012 Washington Street in Roslindale. On arrival a second alarm was declared by the Lieutenant of E18, reporting heavy fire in the rear of the building.
