As vulture migration quickly approaches, we were fortunate to have this lucky turkey vulture healed just in time for release. We stop releasing vultures at the end of October, as their migration window has closed and they cannot handle the cold MN temperatures. Those that miss this window must stay in our hospital over the winter and wait for a spring release.
