After Hurricane Laura, rescue teams from SeaWorld Orlando and SeaWorld San Antonio assisted in the rescue of five bottlenose dolphins, including a mother and calf pair that had been trapped in a drainage canal. Working with the Audubon Nature Institute and partners in the Southeast Region Marine Mammal Stranding Network, our teams were able to successfully transport and return the dolphins back to their home waters. Hurricane Laura Relief Update: The 39 animals that Animal Rescue Corps brought out of the hurricane ravaged Lake Charles, Louisiana region arrived to the safety of the ARC Rescue Operation Center in Tennessee after midnight on Friday morning.
