For so long, I was in denial of the fact that I struggled with ADHD, also known as ADD. When I was younger, in elementary school, I was labeled as one who had ADD, and I had to be on medication, Ritalin, to be specific. I remember the nurse at the school would always come in the middle of the day, knock on the door of the classroom, and ask for me to come and get my medication.
