HONOLULU ( KHNL /Gray News) - The New Year’s Eve fireworks explosion in Hawaii has just taken a sixth life, according to officials. Honolulu police said a 30-year-old woman died just before 6 a.m.

Three people have been taken into police custody following reports that a person was threatened with a firearm in the Wellington settlement of Mākara.

Police are calling on the public for information after a body was found at a rest stop south of Taree on the Mid North Coast of NSW.
