Pittsburgh Steelers superstar edge rusher T.J. Watt is likely looking to become the highest-paid edge rusher in the NFL, but the team is apparently hesitant to make him that.

The Pittsburgh Steelers did not have T.J. Watt at their mandatory minicamp this week. Head coach Mike Tomlin did not seem overly concerned about his future with the team, stating they are in constant communication with one another.

Watt has put together an amazing tenure with the Steelers. He has played in 121 total games with the franchise, racking up 462 total tackles, 108 sacks, 33 forced fumbles, 12 fumble recoveries, seven interceptions, and 50 defended passes.
