There has been plenty of offseason speculation surrounding forward Andrew Wiggins’ future with the Miami Heat. It didn’t help that the Heat included Wiggins in its offer for 15-time All-Star forward Kevin Durant before Durant was eventually traded to the Houston Rockets earlier this offseason

Miami Heat forward Andrew Wiggins is expected to remain with the team for the start of the 2025-26 season, according to Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald.

Wiggins, who was the Heat’s return package in exchange for Jimmy Butler, is coming off a 2024-25 campaign in which he averaged 18.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 2.6 assists, shooting 44.8% from the field and 37.4% from three-point range between his stints with Golden State and Miami.
