After three-and-a-half years of imprisonment in Russia, Butler, Pennsylvania, native Marc Fogel is returning home.

Marc Fogel spent many years raising his family in Oakmont. The small community nestled along the Allegheny River is rejoicing in his return to Western Pennsylvania.

Butler County native Marc Fogel is back in Pittsburgh after he was released from a Russian prison, Allegheny County police confirmed.

Marc Fogel spent many years raising his family in Oakmont. The small community nestled along the Allegheny River is rejoicing in his return to Western Pennsylvania.

Marc Fogel is finally back in the Pittsburgh area after three and a half years in a Russian penal colony. Last week, he returned to the United States, and Tuesday night, he came home. KDKA-TV's Chris Hoffman reports.

"I feel like the luckiest man on Earth right now," Marc Fogel said, standing alongside President Trump in the White House upon his return.

Allegheny County police say the Butler native arrived at Pittsburgh International late Tuesday afternoon after his release from Russia in a prisoner exchange last week.

Fogel’s family also confirmed he’s back in Pittsburgh, saying that he’s happy to be back and is adjusting.
