Liverpool F.C. soccer player Diogo Jota was killed in a car crash in Spain along with his brother, police say.
Jota, the Liverpool forward who in May celebrated winning the Premier League title, has died. He was 28. Police said Jota died along with his brother Andre Silva, also a soccer player, in a car accident near the northwestern city of Zamora, Spain.
As for justice, Liverpool has not forgotten the failures that followed Hillsborough. The Hillsborough Law remains a live issue. Promises have been made, but real action is overdue. The families and city are watching closely.
