The status of Lakers star LeBron James is officially in jeopardy for the team's next two games this week. According to ESPN's Shams Charania, James, and the Lakers are still weighing their options ahead of the back-to-back set which begins on Wednesday.

The Los Angeles Lakers will be the first team back on the court after the All-Star break. JJ Redick and company will play in the only game in Wednesday night’s NBA slate against the Charlotte Hornets in a game that was rescheduled from January’s fires in Los Angeles.

Perhaps the foot and ankle ailment that LeBron James used as an excuse to sit out of the NBA All-Star Game is a real ailment after all.
