Diamondbacks second baseman Ketel Marte is and has been one of the best players on the Arizona roster, but some of his teammates have grown frustrated with him -- to the extent that they've openly wondered if the club would benefit from trading him,

The situation has led some of the Arizona Republic’s sources to wonder if the team should trade Marte, who has been in a Diamondbacks uniform since 2017 and signed a six-year, $116.5 million contract extension in April, over the offseason.

The third and final team that would be an ideal fit for Marte is the Red Sox. Their young core is beginning to emerge at the major league level, and it's time for Boston to start making moves that benefit their present and future.
