For a second straight day, the Houston Astros won in walk-off fashion, this time claiming a 2-1 win in 10 innings over the Twins at Daikin Park. It finished a sweep for the Astros, who were held scoreless until the ninth inning Sunday afternoon and totaled four hits. They have won 16 of their last 22 games and are a season-high 11 games above .500.

Joe Ryan fixed the team’s starting pitching problem, but the Astros answered with Hunter Brown in a pitchers’ duel decided in the ninth inning.

Victor Caratini had a sacrifice fly in the ninth and Mauricio Dubón hit a walk-off single with two out in the 10th to help the Astros beat the Minnesota Twins 2-1 and sweep the three-game series.

Isaac Paredes is also out for a third consecutive game with a strained hamstring as Houston goes through another round of injuries.

Isaac Paredes' hamstring injury hasn't forced him to the IL yet, but Jacob Melton's new ankle injury could lead to a prolonged absence.
