BYD unveiled a massive expansion of its "Gods Eye" intelligent driving system on Monday as the car giant looks to win the brutal EV battle.

China's BYD on Monday started offering advanced autonomous driving features on most of its models including ones priced as low as $9,555, far undercutting competitors such as Tesla in a move analysts say is set to start a new price war.

BYD Co. will enable advanced driver-assistance features in almost all future models at no additional cost to buyers as part of a bid to challenge Tesla Inc. and domestic rivals in China’s cutthroat electric-vehicle market.
