Netflix has revealed its slate of everything new in December 2025, and that means plenty of movies have just been added to the streaming service, and more are on their way.

François Godard, Media and Telecoms Analyst at Enders Analysis, provided a stark warning about the deal, which has been confirmed in the past few minutes and will see Netflix purchasing the Hollywood studio behind the likes of Succession and the Harry Potter films for a total enterprise value of $82.7B.

And it looks like the small screen is gaining the ascendency, as streaming giant Netflix is poised to snap up Warner Bros, the film studio behind the Harry Potter Films, in a £62billion deal.

But the takeover may hit major competition issues with the prospect of two of the world’s biggest streaming platforms combined.
