Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel told his audience Wednesday that he might need their help again amid a new threat from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) directed at the broadcast networks.

"It's his latest attack on free speech and it's a joke," Kimmel said during his Thursday, Jan. 22 monologue

The skit came after the FCC instructed networks to offer political candidates equal time on their shows, warning against shows “motivated by partisan purposes.”
