The Leafs continued their dominance of Edmonton. They’ve owned the Oilers for years, going 12-2-2 in the last 16 meetings and a stunning 10-2-1 in their last 13 trips to Rogers Place. The last time the Oilers won a series with Toronto was 2002-03.

Even still Edmonton almost tied it with one second left in the game but Toronto goalie Joseph Wahl came up with a stupendous save, preserving Toronto’s 4-3 win. The Grade A shots were 19 for the Oilers, 13 for the Maple Leafs, with the subset of most dangerous 5-alarm shots four for Edmonton, six for Toronto.
