In a survey of coaches, executives and scouts compiled by ESPN, Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown ranked as the NFL's No. 6 receiver.

The Detroit Lions have themselves a problem with second-round pick Tate Ratledge. Lions rookies reported to training camp on Wednesday, and this time, we don't know if Ratledge was among them since he has not signed his rookie deal yet.

Patricia came in at No. 9 on this list. He coached from 2018-2020, taking over for Jim Caldwell. After a 6-10 rookie season, Patricia dropped to 3-12-1 in his second season. After the team came out and said Patricia will return for a third season, he went 4-7 in 2020 before being shown the door. Patricia finished with a record of 13-29-1.

The Detroit Lions have made a decision on cornerback Divaad Wilson, who had been on the team's injured reserve list. On the day the team's first-year players reported for training camp, the team came to a decision to waive the former Jaguars, Cardinals and Giants defensive back with an injury settlement.

Because Wilson's contract comes with an AAV of $32.5 million, Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown now ranks seventh among the highest-paid players at his position. For reference, St. Brown inked a four-year, $120 million contract on the day before the 2024 NFL draft.

Adding more depth is still a need for the Lions. Keeping that in mind, they have been connected as a top potential suitor for an eight-time Pro Bowl pass rusher late in free agency. That player is none other than former Denver Broncos and Buffalo Bills star Von Miller.
