As we look toward Mardi Gras day, temperatures look to be mild with highs in the 70s during the afternoon and turning partly cloudy. Early signs are showing that we could be looking at a chance of showers and thunderstorms late afternoon and evening though. It's also possible that some of the storms could turn strong or severe.
