The Michigan women’s basketball team is back in the NCAA Tournament for a seventh straight time, but will have to wait longer to find out its opponent. The at-large Wolverines drew a 6-seed in this year’s big dance and will play the winner of a play-in game between a pair of 11 seeds, Princeton and Iowa State, on Friday in South Bend, Indiana.

Michigan basketball used its late-game magic once again on Sunday to outlast Wisconsin in the Big Ten tournament title game.

Wisconsin hit two more free throws to go up 11 but Will Tschetter finally stopped the bleeding with a three, and with 12:11 remaining in the game, it was 38-30, Badgers. Goldin got a layup just before the under-12 timeout and the deficit was six.
