When Chicago Bulls guard Josh Giddey rolled his right ankle in Monday’s win over the Indiana Pacers, he expected the worst.

Star break run hit a sour note Tuesday, after the Bulls guard left their game against Indiana with an ankle injury. Giddey, who was well on his way to a career night, exited the game early in the fourth quarter after seemingly landing on a Pacers players foot while trying to collect a rebound.

The Chicago Bulls are making a push for the play-in tournament despite losing a number of guys due to injury or at the NBA trade deadline. Josh Giddey has been a primary reason for the Bulls maintaining the 10th spot in the Eastern Conference.
