Holi, the annual colorful festival that marks the end of winter and beginning of spring, will be celebrated later this month across North Jersey.

Spring’s arrival may be uncertain after the groundhog’s prediction, but Holi, the Hindu festival of colors, which takes place March 14 this year, brings a vibrant promise: a fresh start, community joy and a chance to leave negativity behind.

Holi is a popular festival in India, known for its colourful and lively celebrations. While the festival is all about colours and yummy treats, not everyone wishes to step out of their homes. But that doesn't mean you can’t celebrate it!

A grand celebration of Holi is set to take place in Swindon. The Swindon Hindu Centre is hosting the vibrant festival at the Town Gardens Bowl on Sunday, March 16, from 12pm to 4pm. More than 1,000 people are expected to attend,
