The Indianapolis Colts will face the Baltimore Ravens on the road in their preseason opener on Thursday. During this time of the year, the focus shifts from taking a look at how the two teams stack up against one another and instead all eyes are on individual players and position groups with roster decisions looming.

"A QB update: Colts HC Shane Steichen said Anthony Richardson will start Indianapolis’ first preseason game Thursday vs. the Ravens before Daniel Jones starts their second preseason game vs. the Packers," Schefter said. The Colts narrowly missed the playoffs last season after going 8-9 in Steichen's first season with the organization.

The Colts enter the 2025 season in a precarious situation. Indianapolis has solid players on both sides of the ball but no clear starting quarterback between 2023 first-rounder Anthony Richardson and Giants castoff Daniel Jones.
