Neymar and Al-Hilal have come to an agreement to terminate the player’s contract by mutual consent, the club announced on Monday.

Neymar has left Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal after agreeing to a mutual termination of his contract. The 32-year-old forward, who turns 33 on February 5, had entered the final six months of his deal with the club and was free to start negotiating with other teams.

Neymar Jr. has reached a mutual agreement with Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal to terminate his contract. This leaves the door open for Neymar Jr.’s expected return to Brazil’s Santos FC — the team he came up through the youth ranks.
