Amtrak Announces Start Date for Next Generation Acela Service After Prolonged Delays
After a prolonged series of delays and missed deadlines, Amtrak has officially set a start date for its fleet of next-generation Acela trainsets, known as Avelia Liberty trains. These new trains will run on Amtrak's high-speed service along the Northeast Corridor between Washington D.
