JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Jaguars center Mitch Morse announced his retirement Thursday morning, ending a 10-year NFL career that began with the Chiefs in 2015.
Former Kansas City Chiefs center Mitch Morse has announced his retirement after 10 seasons in the NFL, all of which were in the AFC.
During his five-year run with the Buffalo Bills from 2019-2023, starting center Mitch Morse not only reached his first Pro Bowl with the organization but showed a kind of consistency the team failed to have along the offensive line for decades.
After five years with the Missouri Tigers, Morse was selected with the No. 49 pick in the 2015 NFL draft by the Chiefs. After snapping to Alex Smith for three years, Patrick Mahomes took over under center for the final his final season with Kansas City. However, Morse departed for the Bills the offseason before the Chiefs won Super Bowl LIV.
