The 16th annual event, held at the Polo Lounge, brought together the year’s top Oscar contenders just ahead of the Academy Awards.

The annual affair, held at the Polo Lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel, drew everyone from Leonardo DiCaprio and Adrien Brody to Lily-Rose Depp and Colman Domingo.

Chanel introduced its tweed skirt suit in the 1920s. The design was born out of founder Coco Chanel’s relationship with the Duke of Westminster: the couple vacationed together in the Scottish highlands, where sportsmen favored suits fashioned out of the woolen knit.
