MESA, Ariz. — State Sen. Eva Burch, a Democrat from a competitive district in the East Valley, announced Wednesday she's resigning from the Arizona Legislature.

The group home where Emily went missing from has a history of missing persons calls. In the past three years, there have been 30 missing persons cases from the same home, according to a public information officer with the Mesa Police Department. 12News is not identifying the group home for privacy concerns, as the group home serves minor residents.
