Head coach JJ Redick described the connection that the Los Angeles Lakers have to the city of L.A. after the devastating wildfires.

Lakers coach JJ Redick was among the many Pacific Palisades residents that lost a home to the devastating wildfires which burned throughout Southern California earlier this month. His sons, Knox and Kai, lost their collection of sports memorabilia and jerseys in the devastation, which NBA stars are teaming up to replenish.

“Steph Curry’s bodyguard found JJ Redick after the game with a couple of Steph’s jerseys to give to his sons, helping to replenish their memorabilia collection that was lost in the fires,” Dave McMenamin shared in a post on X, formerly Twitter.

LeBron James joked about shutting down Stephen Curry but acknowledged the respect Curry commands as one of the league's greatest shooters.
