A resolution to formally punish Rep. Al Green for protesting President Donald Trump's speech is possibly getting a House vote this week.
Dan Newhouse (R-WA) introduced his censure resolution against the Democrat on the House floor on Wednesday afternoon, which notes that Green “repeatedly violated” decorum after he continuously yelled “You have no mandate” at Trump and waved his cane at the president.

Most of the Democrats who voted with House Republicans to rebuke Rep. Al Green for disrupting Trump’s address to Congress won reelection by slim margins last year.
House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., had Green removed from the chamber during the early moments of Trump’s speech Tuesday night. Green stood and shouted at Trump after the Republican president said the Nov. 5 election had delivered a governing mandate not seen for many decades.
