The Jacksonville Jaguars are interviewing Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive coordinator Liam Coen for their head coaching job after all after firing GM Trent Baalke.

In one of the more stunning developments in recent coaching search history, Coen agreed to become the Jaguars’ head coach, per multiple reports, after previously removing himself from consideration and agreeing to a Buccaneers extension that would have made him the NFL’s highest-paid coordinator.

It appeared Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive coordinator Liam Coen was a finalist for the Jacksonville Jaguars head-coaching job; the Tampa Bay Times even reported there was a growing belief it was the 39-year-old's job to lose.
