Hospitals workers say at least 19 people were killed all but one of them women when a car bomb exploded on the outskirts of a northern Syrian city.

The Foreign Ministry condemned the “terrorist” bombing in Manbij city in Syria’s Aleppo, which killed and injured dozens of people. The ministry’s spokesperson Sufian Qudah voiced the Kingdom’s “full support and solidarity” with the people and government of Syria and its rejection of all forms of violence and terrorism that seek to undermine the country’s stability and security.

A deadly car bomb attack near northern Syria’s Manbij has suspended negotiations between the Damascus interim government and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), two sources familiar with the issue told Middle East Eye. The attack on Monday killed at least 20 people, most of them women working in agricultural fields.
