President Trump is ripping California Gov. Gavin Newsom over mismanagement of the state leading up to the devastating wildfires and handling of sanctuary cities ahead of his visit to the Golden State.

President Trump repeated falsehoods about California’s firefighting efforts on Friday and blamed Democratic officials for a wide variety of issues affecting the response to wildfires as he toured areas of Los Angeles damaged by the disaster.

President Donald Trump continued to blast California's response to the wildfires, and seemed to add a new condition on additional aid for the wildfires.
