An arctic cold front will send temperatures plunging in North Texas around sunset Tuesday. The expected impacts of the cold front prompted the National Weather Service to issue both a winter weather advisory and extreme cold warning for Dallas-Fort Worth and surrounding areas.

The cold front has made its way through most of North Texas, but the freezing line is still moving through. At 4:45 p.m., temperatures range from 59 degrees in Palestine to 19 degrees in Graham. It has been a cloudy,

EST a winter weather advisory was issued by the National Weather Service valid from 7 p.m. EST until Wednesday 7 a.m. EST for Luce County.

On Tuesday at 8:39 a.m. a winter weather advisory was issued by the NWS Wilmington NC valid from Wednesday 1 p.m. until Thursday 7 a.m. The advisory is for Inland Pender as well as Robeson and Bladen counties.

On Tuesday at 1:37 p.m. the National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory valid from Wednesday 4 a.m. until Thursday 4 a.m. for North Oregon Cascades, Cascades of Marion and Linn counties and Cascades of Lane County.
