This Sunday at UFC 325, Alex “The Great” Volkanovski steps back into the Octagon for a rematch with Diego Lopes, revisiting last year’s title clash at UFC 314. Volk came out on top in the first fight with a commanding decision, though he survived a scare in round two when Lopes dropped him with a heavy shot.
A new interim lightweight champion was crowned in the main event when Justin Gaethje (27-5 MMA, 10-5 UFC) outworked Paddy Pimblett (23-4 MMA, 7-1 UFC) for a unanimous decision in a classic five-round battle that earned Fight of the Night honors.
