While doing his best to avoid any declarations he may come to regret, AC Milan forward Christian Pulisic admitted that Sunday’s derby win over Inter “sends a message” to the rest of Serie A that the Rossoneri are very much in the title race.

Although Inter had been on top, Milan broke the deadlock in the 54th minute at San Siro when Alexis Saelemaekers hit a low effort from outside of the box and it was saved by Yann Sommer, who pushed the ball into the path of Pulisic for the striker to easily tap home.
