Tomb Raider's creative director Ian Milham has stepped down from his role at developer Crystal Dynamics.

Netflix's new Tomb Raider animated series is good, but it might not be quite as accessible to all audiences.

However, even though the Tomb Raider tabletop RPG is dead, its mechanics aren't. Evil Hat goes on to note that the project is going to be reworked in a standalone setting.

Sad news: we are canceling the Tomb Raider RPG project. Due to creative differences, we were unable to align our vision with that of the licensor, so we have decided to part ways.
