Five Virginians can now call themselves millionaires after the Virginia Lottery announced the winning ticket numbers in its annual game.

A single winning ticket was sold for Powerball's Christmas Eve jackpot of $1.817 billion, in Arkansas. It was the second-largest U.S. lottery jackpot ever won.

Pick 3 tickets are 50 cents and $1. Players can pick any three numbers between 0 and 9, or they can have the terminal pick the numbers for them. Odds of winning with the three numbers in exact order are 1 in 1,000. Prizes range from $25 to $500, depending on the price of the ticket. Players can also choose to play the numbers in any order.

The North Carolina Education Lottery announced a Pick 3 drawing resulted in 5,151 tickets bearing the numbers 9-1-1 winning top prizes.
