Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, was sombre as she attended the Duchess of Kent 's funeral this afternoon, dressed in the same outfit she wore to the late Duke of Edinburgh 's funeral.

The Duchess of Kent's funeral service was held at Westminster Cathedral this afternoon. Marking the first Catholic funeral for a member of the Royal Family since the Reformation, the King and the Prince and Princess of Wales attended the service in what has been hailed as a key moment for ecumenical relations.
