Thousands in the Chicago area rallied for "No Kings Day" protests against the Trump administration on Saturday. It was quite the demonstration, and it seemed like there was just a never-ending crowd of people that marched from Daley Plaza all throughout the Loop in downtown Chicago.

ABC7 cameras captured at least five people being taken away in handcuffs throughout the afternoon and evening, and some officers in riot gear were deployed to the Loop.

Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson encouraged his city to protest the Trump administration’s immigration raids across the country. “I am counting on all of Chicago to resist in this moment,” said Johnson, who is a Democrat. “Whatever particular vulnerable group is being targeted today, another group will be next.”
All eyes are on downtown Chicago as different groups organize protests against Immigration and Customs Enforcement — working, many demonstrators say, in solidarity with protesters in Los Angeles. Sabrina Franza reports.
Thursday's protest was arranged by the Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights and other organizations. Several hundred people marched from Congress Plaza to Trump Tower.
