The NFL previously suspended and upheld the ban for Bengals wideout Ja’Marr Chase due to his spitting at Jalen Ramsey. Saturday, the league’s weekly day to announce punishments for the prior week’s infractions, the NFL issued a fine and some omissions from the latest AFC North slugfest.
Bengals receiver Ja'Marr Chase is missing his sixth game in five NFL seasons as he serves a one-game suspension.
Ramsey received a $17,389 fine for a hit on a defenseless player (Michael Pittman Jr.) in Pittsburgh’s Week 9 win against the Colts. He has been fined 11 times in his career for ($144,741). Steelers edge rusher T.J. Watt was not fined for his roughing the passer penalty against Bengals quarterback Joe Flacco.
The Bengals had Hendrickson back on the field a few weeks back, only for him to reaggravate an injury. He might need offseason surgery to correct the issue, but for now, won’t go to injured reserve as he attempts to get back.
