Atlanta Police and U.S. Marshals have arrested Anthony Moreland in connection with the November 2025 shooting death of a 17-year-old.

A metro Atlanta man is facing a criminal charge for allegedly taking part in a viral social media challenge involving the metro Atlanta branch of the Church of Scientology.

ATLANTA — Crime Stoppers is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest of a burglary suspect. Atlanta Police said on May 1, they responded to a burglary in the 3000 block of Piedmont Road NE. The investigation indicates the suspect in the photos entered the location and stole several laptops on April 29, according to police.

According to 11Alive, Atlanta police worked with the FBI and the Newton County Sheriff's Office to track Paschal to a location on Hunters Ridge Drive in the Covington area. After a barricade situation there, officers took him into custody and brought him back to Atlanta for interviews with the homicide unit.

A 14-year-old was arrested for murder in the shooting death of a 12-year-old boy inside a southeast Atlanta home, police say. The investigation is ongoing.
