The partisan feud over the deadly Los Angeles wildfires intensifies, with President Trump and congressional Republicans ramping up attacks on California and local response.
Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) on Wednesday called on President Trump to authorize $34 billion in Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) aid to help the California communities ravaged by the Palisades fire recover more than one year after the disaster struck.
Joy Chen of the Eaton Fire Survivors Network noted two other ways the government could help, including by holding insurance companies accountable.
