Oscar winner Daniel Kaluuya will co-write—and presumably reprise his voice role—in a standalone film following Hobie Brown, last seen in 'Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.'

“Spider-Punk,” a spinoff of 2023’s animated hit “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse,” is in early development at Sony Pictures Animation. Daniel Kaluuya, who voiced the character in the comic book sequel, and Ajon Singh are developing and co-writing the feature.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse's breakout star, Hobie Brown, aka Spider-Punk, has a solo movie in development.
