Following the end of the 2024 season, Cleveland Browns star running back Nick Chubb became a free agent, and the team is yet to re-sign their franchise player. Even if the team is interested in reaching a new deal with Chubb, it seems another team may beat them to it.

The Browns completely overhauled their running back room in this draft with second-round pick Quinshon Judkins out of Ohio State and fourth-round Dylan Sampson out of Tennessee, two of the picks from the blockbuster trade down from No. 2 to No. 5 with the Jaguars.

According to one Cleveland radio host, it sounds like running back Nick Chubb is getting close to an NFC North team -- and that just might be the Bears. “Are we ready to say goodbye to Nick Chubb?" Ken Carman said on 92.3 The Fan in Cleveland. "I heard he is kind of getting close to another team…it happens to be in the NFC North.”
