Jenna Ortega and Barry Keoghan star in 'Hurry Up Tomorrow,' the big-screen companion to the singer's latest album, in theaters May 16.

The Weeknd has long been promising to kill off his musical persona, but it seems like his feature film will be the final nail in the coffin. The Hurry Up Tomorrow trailer foreshadows the artist’s death with the subtlety of a Max Martin-produced pop song.

“Hurry Up Tomorrow” is a suspense thriller that features music from The Weeknd, whose new album of the same name releases on Jan. 24. The album is the conclusion to the musical trilogy of The Weeknd’s “After Hours” and “Dawn FM.”
